On Wednesday, July 30th, we were once again able to do exactly what Werk 96 is all about: finding the perfect vehicle for a customer with passion, precision, and a clear goal in mind.
Alexander was about to make a big decision – the purchase of his first 911 Carrera, a 996 model. A step you only take once. He asked us to accompany him and, with our experience, ensure that he wasn't buying just any 996, but the right one.
After intensive research, numerous phone calls, and careful inspection, we found what we were looking for in Passau – about 400 kilometers from our location in Stuttgart. A beautiful blue 996, in the same owner for over ten years, with a flawless history. Shortly before handover, it received an official inspection and a fresh MOT and emission certificate – the timing couldn't have been more perfect.
On the day of the viewing, that meant 10 to 12 hours of dedicated time for us. We set off early in the morning from Stuttgart, drove to Passau with Alexander, inspected the vehicle, took a thorough test drive, and clarified all the details with the seller. Then, with a signed purchase agreement and a beaming Alexander, we headed back home.
The bright blue car in the sunlight, the moment shortly after the contract was signed – captured in a photo that means more to both of us than just a vehicle purchase. It represents trust, shared passion, and what drives Werk 96: not just satisfying customers, but delighting them.
Now comes the next step: Alexander wants to further refine his 996 with us – with a new chassis, optimized braking system, and other custom modifications. For us, this is the best proof that we're on the right track.
